Because her condition is congenital as opposed to genetic, vets are optimistic that Skipper has a good life ahead of her.

The veterinarians diagnosed Skipper with two congenital disorders called monocephalus dipygus and monocephalus rachipagus dibrachius tetrapus, "which simply means she has 1 head and chest cavity but 2 pelvic regions, 2 lower urinary tracts, 2 reproductive systems, 2 tails and 6 legs among other things," the Facebook post said.
It's likely that Skipper was part of a twin in the womb, "and when the fertilized egg tried to split, it didn't fully separate," Dr. Skipper also has signs of spina bifida, a birth defect in which the spinal column doesn't close properly during development.
